the pretty birthday bitch [24 Feb 2008|12:57am] 19 feb saw me celebrating my sis's surprise party . all eleven of us headed to sentosa's beach cafe first to set up the place with balloons ,candles and etc. sis,being kept in the dark, was brought to sentosa by litty. She was very much surprised when all of us dashed out from the changing room(not far from where she was standing)  shouting and screaming. the whole atmosphere was magnificient with the beach right next to us & fireworks just right above us. what makes the whole night even more fulfilling was the smile on sister's face and i am dead sure that she enjoyed it too. after all, it's her 21st birthday. and because it's her 21st, we did two celebrations,one day before her birthday & on the day itself. happy belated 21st birthday sis, i still owe you a present. [13 Feb 2008|12:13am] KNOW WHAT? ASHLEY AND I PASSED OUR BASIC EVALUATION TODAY ON FIRST ATTEMPT. it's funny how i still feel the jitters before the test after taking more than 10 years of test/exams shit. that smarty scored a 100% and she came out of the room thinking that we can start practical already. Ash was gibberish the whole day; making weird noises;funny faces. To think she said that i am the only person whom she doesn't understand 20% of the language that i am speaking. After that, She brought me to this pasta place in taka and the pasta there is superb. the shop looks a little like pasta mania but i swear their food taste so much better. i gobbled up everything even before ash started eating. Mean while, we saw Randell(sp?) Tan and he is mega hot till we hyperventilated, we couldn't quite take our eyes off him. To sum up today? ASHLEY BRIGHTENS MY DAY. [14 Jan 2008|01:01am] This morning's volunteer work opened up my eyes a little bit. It made me felt more thankful that i have a complete & happy family because it doesn't come so easily for others, like the kids at the orphanage. Bringing the kids out for shopping this morning was amazing although they were naughty as hell,two boys ran away from me(they chose nicole over me) & my little girl kept pulling my shirt violently. Despite all these + the pointing of finger, i still had alot of fun because seeing those happy little faces was really heartwarming. My little girl even gave me a flying kiss before she boarded the bus, how sweet is that? Actually, i do wonder exactly how many people( volunteers), like us, have walked in & out of their lives. Did we make any impact in their lives, even if it was just a little? . . . i truly hope we did.  +++++++++++++++++++++++++++   1 comment|post comment
